John Dillinger is another romantic character from rat-a-tat-tat machine gun era of the Depression. A really fun trial and now, since the recent film, "Public Enemies," the name Dillinger came back to the public conscientiousness. For the Mock Trial of John Dillinger, we decided not to re-create any of the many bank robberies and let the trial stand alone. We thought it would create confusion – you may feel differently. However, 2000 found Public Enemy #1, John Dillinger (circa 1934), had time to sing and dance a duet with the infamous Lady in Red!

Dillinger, from the early thirties, was the bane of FBI Director, J. Edgar Hoover and was Public Enemy Number One. Dillinger was another fun character even though few know about Johnny and the Lady in Red.
